Well, all good things must come to an end. Since this site is shutting down, this will be my last entry for this blog.

It's been a lot of fun writing all about Melbourne and about Australian culture, and I hope you've enjoyed reading about it. Maybe you even learnt a few new things!

Thank you to all the readers who wrote to me with questions or comments. I always enjoyed getting your messages, and it was good to hear your responses to what I was writing. Thank you in particular to miniluv, Pin, sachi, yamako, そらのすけ, ku, Naomi, bump, Aurora and Mo-moko for writing to me.

I hope you all get to come to Australia - or even Melbourne! - someday soon. And even if you don't, I hope you travel somewhere else! Remember, there's no point learning a foreign language unless you use it - so make sure you get out there and make the most of it.

Anyway, I do recommend coming to Australia, if you can. It's beautiful, even if the sun gets pretty intense sometimes.

Still, it's always nice under the shade.

僕にとって、メルボルンやオーストラリアの文化について書くことは本当に楽しかったです。そして、みなさんが楽しんでくれていたとしたら光栄です。きっと今まで知らなかったことを少しでも、知ってもらえたんじゃないかな！

そして、コメントや質問を書いてくれたみなさん、ありがとう。みなさんからのメッセージをいつも楽しみにしていたし、僕が書いたことについての反応を聞けたことはうれしかったです。特に、miniluvさん、Pinさん、sachiさん、yaamkoさん、そらのすけさん、kuさん、Naomiさん、bumpさん、Auroraさん、そしてMo-mokoさん、メッセージをありがとう。

みなさんが、オーストラリアそれも、メルボルンをいつの日か訪れてくれるとうれしいな。もしオーストラリアでなくても、ぜひ、皆さん、どこかに旅をしてみてください！一つ忘れないでください、外国語は使わなければ、学んでる意味はありません。だからもっといろいろな場所に行って、英語をどんどん使ってみてください。

とはいっても、僕は皆さんにオーストラリアに来ることをオススメします。たまに太陽がとても強いけど、すごく美しい国ですよ。

でも”under the shade”は、いつも快適だけどね。
